Chicken Marinara Sandwiches

This simple recipe is packed with italian flavor! With Keystone you can have dinner on the table quickly. Double the recipe and save some for later!


  • 1 can (28 oz.) Keystone Chicken
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) Marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella, shredded
  • 6 Sub rolls
  • Butter for rolls


  1. Add chicken to pot.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning.
  3. Add minced garlic and 1 jar of your favorite marinara/pasta sauce.
  4. Mix in 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cook on low for about 10 minutes.
  6. Spread butter on sub rolls.
  7. Bake at 400 °F until the bread is toasted.
  8. Scoop marinara chicken onto sub rolls and top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Put open sandwiches in the oven under the broiler until the cheese melts. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn!
